The Space
Brutus is a spacious, one bedroom, ground-floor apartment with Art Deco features throughout. The bathroom has been renovated with a large walk-in shower and separate toilet. The kitchen is compact but well equipped with the cooking essentials. In the bedroom you’ll find a luxurious queen bed, whilst the lounge room and study are beautifully styled with vintage furniture and unique homewares. The entire apartment features original artworks by Australian and international artists. A shared laundry is located on the ground floor and is free to use by all guests.

Brutus is one of three apartments at The Rupert which are all fully self-contained, with separate entrances and lock boxes. Rupert Avenue has unrestricted, free street parking.
Neighbourhood Overview
The Rupert is a two minute walk from several services and ammenities, including Hill Street Grocer (IGA), which provides a large range of fresh produce, deli items, cheeses, freshly baked breads and supermarket essentials. Across the road are a bottle shop and the Rupert Avenue cafe. The Friends’ School is also across the road, with a fully equipped gym and indoor swimming pool, open to the public. The North Hobart restaurant strip offers a number of fantastic dining options and popular bars.
Getting Around
North Hobart is only 3-5 minutes’ walk from the apartment. The CBD is approximately 8 minutes away by car or 20-30 minutes on foot. A bus stop is located directly opposite the property, with buses straight into the CBD.

The Rupert is an older building and is not fully sound proof. Please be mindful of the other residents and keep noise down during your stay. To respect your privacy, your hosts will not be present at the property but can be contacted via phone if you need any assistance during your stay.
